Description
Anyone who has scooped ice knows that the process of scooping presents a couple of dangers. Firstly, knuckles raking against cold, hard ice can hurt! Secondly, any skin contact can contaminate ice – potentially causing a food hygiene hazards.
The 64-86oz San Jamar Saf-T-Scoop system alleviates these issues with a simple solution. Its built-in hand guard immediately protects sensitive knuckles from the ice, whilst the clever dome shape makes it easy to scoop larger quantities without any skin contact at all. The scoop features handy drain holes near the base too, allowing only ice to be scooped.
The Guardian system adds further versatility, protecting the scoop from contamination when not in use. The Saf-T-Scoop & Guardian System is part of San Jamar’s Safe Ice Handling System.
